The members of amcAustria are the Austrian producer organizations for fruit and vegetables.
The aim of producer organizations is to bundle supply and thus improve the position of agricultural producers on the market. They are essential actors aiming at strengthening the negotiating position of producers vis-á-vis the growing concentration on the trade side and at achieving added value by producers. The comprehensive representation and support of the concerns of the producer organizations to the outside as well as the constant exchange of information and experience between the members are the focus of the tasks of amcAUSTRIA.
Chairman of amcAustria is Josef Peck - managing director of the producer organization LGV Sonnengemüse eGen. The management is done by gfa-consulting gmbh, located in Weiz in Styria (www.gfa.co.at).
